Georgios Diogenous & Associates LLC successfully represented a client company in a major civil litigation for the recovery of €142,000 and €220,000, based on dishonoured cheques issued by a defendant company and endorsed by a third party. The claims stemmed from a private settlement agreement.
The cheques were returned due to revocation and insufficient funds, and the defendants attempted to avoid payment by citing garnishment actions from the Hellenic Republic. Despite these defences, the Court ruled in our client’s favour, confirming the validity of the cheques and the defendants’ liability.
