Court Injunctions Secured in Healthcare Business Dispute, €2M+ Protected
Our law firm successfully secured interim court injunctions in favour of our clients, reputable professionals in the Cyprus healthcare sector, against a competing healthcare company and associated individuals. The court orders prohibit the defendants from:
(a) disposing or alienating funds exceeding €2 million,
(b) contacting our clients’ customers in any manner, and
(c) using or exploiting our clients’ confidential data and trade secrets.
Our clients had lawfully acquired a healthcare business in Cyprus through a formal share purchase agreement, duly paying the agreed sum. However, the seller failed to transfer the business as agreed and continued operating independently. Moreover, individuals previously employed by our clients, who had access to sensitive information, were hired by the rival company.
This conduct led to financial damages exceeding €2 million. As a result, our firm filed a lawsuit and obtained urgent injunctive relief to protect our clients’ legal and commercial interests.
